GARGOYLES

GARGOYLES

GARGOYLES

Gargoyles of Fear
Block the gateway to magic
With their strong, dark presence.
It's scary, should I turn back?
Does the voice of Prudence
Cover old timidity, no longer desired,
Or favor the opinions of others?
What do I want?
Surely the path to truth,
Beauty, the unknown,
Lies beyond those frowning monsters -
Are they mythic? Are they real?
A big clench in the belly,
Is what I feel...
What would it take
To boldly stride through?
Breathing is Good!
Ahhhhhh....
Noting the fear
Without getting trapped,
Staying in neutral
So I won't get zapped,
Remembering fear,
Like a magnet,
Multiplies and attracts!
So, Breathe in the Light,
Ask Spirit for help,
And try to relax!
Give thanks for another
Victorious fight!
Pass through those gates now,
Protected and safe.
Walk with calm and peace,
A new aspect of Life
To embrace.
